These resources are essential for both the training sessions and exam preparation. Students also receive two exam attempts, giving them added flexibility and confidence when attempting the certification. Students retain access to the digital course materials after the class, allowing them to review and study independently prior to taking the exam.
No formal prerequisites are required for any of the IAITAM certifications. However, it is recommended that participants have basic knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) or related business and IT disciplines.
Cybiant delivers IAITAM courses in several formats, including live instructor-led training or as virtual training. Yes. IAITAM certifications are valid for one year. To maintain certification, professionals must renew annually by submitting a renewal application and paying a renewal fee. IAITAM members receive a discounted renewal rate.
Each IAITAM certification exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. Candidates have 90 minutes to complete the exam. The passing score for most IAITAM certifications is 85%.
If a candidate does not achieve a passing score, they may retake the exam one time, which is standard included in the exam package. IAITAM requires candidates to wait 24 hours before retaking the exam.
Yes. The IAITAM certification exams are open book and open note, allowing candidates to reference course materials during the exam. However, collaboration with others is strictly prohibited.
Candidates can take the exam after completing the official IAITAM training course. The exam is administered online and can be taken at any time within 14 days of receiving the exam access instructions.
