Executive Summary
Following the success of a foundational Digital Literacy programme, a leading Malaysian telecommunications and digital services provider engaged Cybiant for a second, more advanced initiative. This time the goal was deeper: equipping the entire workforce — executives and non-executives alike — with in-depth knowledge of the organisation’s own portfolio of digital products. Cybiant designed and delivered nine SCORM-compliant e-learning modules, each covering a distinct product area, complete with original 2D animated characters, bilingual delivery, gamified assessments, and seamless LMS integration. The programme was delivered on time, fully aligned to the client’s 2030 digital transformation strategy.
The Challenge

Five distinct obstacles at this stage of the journey

Despite prior success with digital literacy foundations, this phase required a distinct approach — deeper, more specific, and technically demanding.

01 Product Knowledge Gaps

Employees lacked in-depth product knowledge across the organisation’s growing digital portfolio, limiting their ability to represent and sell solutions confidently.

02 Breadth & Complexity

The product range spanned multiple business units — from consumer broadband and smart home solutions to enterprise cloud, cybersecurity, and edge computing.

03 Scale & Accessibility

Reaching all employees required a self-directed, engaging solution that needed no classroom attendance and worked across locations and devices.

04 Bilingual Requirements

Content had to be professionally delivered in both English and Bahasa Melayu to serve the full diversity of the workforce without compromise.

05 Technical Compliance

All modules had to conform to SCORM 1.2+ standards for seamless LMS integration, while remaining under 250 MB per module for smooth, lag-free delivery across the organisation’s infrastructure.
