Course Overview
The ITIL 4 Leader: Digital and IT Strategy (DITS) certification highlights the importance and complexity of developing a digital strategy that supports business success. It explains how digital strategy should align with IT strategy and the wider organizational goals. The module shows how the ITIL framework helps organizations manage digital transformation by offering a structured, flexible approach to service management challenges and enabling the effective use of modern technologies. It also elevates ITIL discussions to a strategic level for executives and business leaders.
Accredited training is mandatory to fully understand the material, and ITIL 4 Foundation is a prerequisite for all modules. After completing the Managing Professional pathway, candidates only need the DITS module to obtain the Strategic Leader designation. More information on progressing from ITIL v3 to ITIL 4 is available at our Ultimate ITIL 4 FAQ.
