Design Thinking (DT) is an approach to creating solutions. DTMethod allows you to easily introduce Design Thinking into your organization and take advantage of this approach. DTMethod is an APMG accredited Design Thinking methodology.

Design Thinking is a method which is gaining more and more recognition around the world. It serves to raise creativity levels while designing new products and processes with minimum costs incurred. Design Thinking is a tool which helps create innovations and improvements to existing products so that they can meet actual expectations of potential and end users. Additionally, it is one of the most reliable methods used during pre-project phase to assess whether it is cost-efficient to engage in the initiative and how the end product of the project should work to bring as many benefits to the organization as possible.

DTMethod is an APMG accredited Design Thinking training and methodology. It comprises a set of rules, guidelines and tools helping to restructure Design Thinking. Thanks to DTMethod the process, which is considered chaotic, is easier to predict and to implement within an organization.

Methodology of conducting of the Design Thinking, processes is based on 3 pillars:

  • DTModel, composed of 3 phases
  • DTTools, around 20 tools fitted to DTModel
  • DTRules&Roles, that is the rules (and roles) to follow applying DTMethod

Implementing of DTMethod as a methodology to utilize all of the above.

DTMethod® Foundation exam:

  • Single-choice test consisting of 50 questions.
  • To pass the exam it is required to obtain 65%, i.e. at least 33 points.
  • The exam lasts 40 minutes.
  • English language.

A participant who obtained the required number of points to pass the exam receives an international certificate in electronic. Additionally, you can buy a paper version of the certificate.

DTMethod® Foundation Certificate is valid indefinitely.

    The concept was well explained by the trainer. It would be good to have a physical session as well.

    Interactive courses, which can learn in practical way instead of fully theory classes. It is better to have the course in f2f, so the time will be easier to control.

    First, I would like to praise the trainer John on his training style to make this dry topic more fun and a bit easy for us to understand on the context and application.

    The pace of the training was good but overall a bit dry. Suggest to have some simulation of role play. To make it more fun, start with role play as a warm up session before starting the content of the course. Next to relate the role play back to the context of the training topic. On the follow up role play, participant can be more engage and relate to the context, and able to observed the relationship.

    With this, I feel it can prepare the participants for the prototype simulation better.
